Women's History - Poetry
This list brings together titles in the collection written by most of the women who have held the title of "Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress," a position which is commonly referred to as the "U.S. Poet Laureate." These women made history by attaining this recognition, which has historically been awarded most often to men. Further titles by many of these same authors are available in the library's collection as well.
