a Hercule Poirot Mystery

Really good book! After about the first 100 pages or so, things really start to get interesting, but the first part definitely is worth reading closely-- important details and clues are hinted at there. I loved how the mystery seemed to get more complicated at every turn, and, of course, at the end (spoiler alert) nothing turned out like I could have guessed! It seemed like it would be simple to figure out, because the murder was done in an enclosed area with only a select cast of characters who could have been the culprit, but in fact it was not easy at all to find out "whodunnit." So overall, a great read. I would definitely recommend it. Easily the best Agatha Christie novel I have read, other than And Then There Were None (also published as Ten Little Indians). If you liked Death On The Nile, read And Then There Were None. It is similar in the sense that it is also a "locked door" mystery, as someone else in the comments described it, but also nearly impossible to figure out until the true murderers are only revealed at the end. They are both intriguing mysteries, and once I started reading, I couldn't stop! :)
