3.5/5 stars. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is an American spy film directed by Christopher Mcquarrie. Released in 2015, Rogue Nation is the fifth installment in the Mission Impossible series. Tom Cruise is crucial to the quality of this movie. His commitment to the character, stunts, and the role as a whole is inspiring. He really gives his all to these films, and it shows in his performances. There are many clever scenes and plans throughout the movie, with witty plans concocted by the main characters to save the world from The Syndicate, a criminal consortium made up of rouge special agents. The movie definitely delivers on high octane thrills and action. However, the series’ generic plot points start to become very worn by the end of the movie, and little is done to remedy the problem this lack of uniqueness creates. It leaves the watcher with a movie that was fun, but hardly memorable by the end. Overall, I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a fun watch, but don’t expect to come away from it with anything new or absolutely amazing. @Joaquin of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board Omg, this was an amazing movie.
