This is a terrible movie. Too long and probably originally longer because I think they edited out some things which might have made more sense. Who would believe an out of shape engineer would leave his adored children suddenly one day to pilot several flight vehicles that he had no training on to another galaxy, destination uncertain, return uncertain? Because he just happened to show up one night at an underground NASA facility and he was the "best pilot they had"? Interstellar cast that were probably persuaded this movie would serve as a warning to what our destiny might be if we don't take care of Mother Earth, but the ease with which they can find another planet and colonize it with only a handful of people planning/executing the mission would seem to have the opposite consequence. Then how do you close up the movie and tie up the ends? No, Engineer does not equal Physicist or haven't you been watching "The Big Bang Theory"? They needed to at least have one in advisory capacity on this movie. Poor Matt Damon, left behind yet again on another planet. And these people never eat.
