I'm glad I read Robert Shelton's, No Direction Home, before reading this.
Dylan, The Biography, fills in the holes of Shelton's more scholarly work.
I still enjoyed this book and rated it 4 stars because it had many more interviews and quotes and focused on Dylan the entertainer and man.
Although the book takes on a tone of debunking Bob, in the author's acknowledgements at the end if the book he states he is true fan. Take that for what it is worth I guess?
