a Story of Albert Einstein

A well researched, intimate look in Albert Einstein's path to discovery from childhood onward. A book that is meant to capture the imagination and invites curiosity, thinking and creativity. I particularly appreciate the author's careful attention to small details such as Einstein love of thinking in his sailboat, that his feet were happier without socks also that he mentions how Einstein didn't speak until he was well into toddlerhood. Free to be his quirky self allowed his mind space to think creatively. This book is not necessarily about Einstein's theories and discoveries per se but more about Einstein himself. A gentle reminder to look at how we can free ourselves a little giving ourselves and our children space to think more creatively.
