This book really touched my heart I loved it because of how real it was. Like most people I thought the ending was really sad and wrong for a while but now see how it shouldn't have to be a happy ending. I t took me a very long time to hold it together and read the epilogue. I loved all the characters, they were all very likable it really touched me how much I could relate to them. I plan to read more of the two authors books and I hope this book helps other the way it helped me.

A missed connection leads to a Cinderella-style search and a love story in this collaboration between two star YA authors. I adored both of the main characters, and most of the supporting cast, and I didn't want to put this down. I really appreciated the emphasis on the importance of friendship, and I have a lot of respect for the ending, which was upbeat and hopeful but also realistic. Once again, Becky Albertalli hit it out of the park!

I must say, I was very dissatisfied with that ending, though I suppose it’s pretty realistic. Overall it was a nice story, and they definitely did a good job with the teenage voice.

What I loved about this book is how realistic the relationship was between Arthur and Ben. They both put effort into their relationship and made it work. This was a very sweet and fun book to read!

This book isn't a literary masterpiece, but is a good light read. The main character is pretty cringy, and so is his first relationship-- but perhaps this is representative of all teenage relationships. Overall, I'd recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a classic cheesy romance novel.

To say that i loved this book is an understatement. The characters felt real, from first word to last word i was not wanting this to end, and now that i am done, i want more. Becky and Adam need to do another collaboration. (would not complain if they continued with Ben and Arthur)

Perhaps one of my favorite human love stories that I have read. I was gripped until the end wondering what was going to happen. Not only were the character well developed, but I was able to form an emotional connection to them as I related my past and present to them. Very lovely and perhaps my go-to recommendation for LGBTQ+ Fiction.

Cute. Couldn't put it down. I was a little "eh" about the ending, but it certainly is realistic.

A bittersweet, butterflies-in-your-stomach YA love story.
