I am a huge fan of Salt N Pepa so picking this up was a no brainer. Pepa instantly envelopes you in her story and she doesn't let go. If you are looking for a celebrity tell all, this book is not what you are looking for. However if you are interested in a story about survival, self- discovery and how to "push it" through adversity, this is your book. I finished this quickly and was glad I got to know a little more about the spicy half of my favorite girl band.
