Set in the late 1920s, the story follows a cat-and-mouse game between a group of resistance fighters who want to destroy key Japanese facilities in Seoul, and the Japanese agents trying to stop them. A talented Korean-born Japanese police officer, who was previously in the independence movement himself, is torn between his duty as an officer and his instinct to support the greater cause.

This is the first Korean film that I have seen.
This film is in Korean with English Subtitles and it is dubbed - another option.
We looked at the first option - Korea with English subtitles.
It is well done and the scenes look authentic.
The story is very intriguing set against the background of Japanese ruled Korea. Along the way the way the brutality of the Japanese rule comes out. One's sympathy is with the Korean people, in particular the resistance.
It is well worthwhile seeing.

Lots of talk-talk-talk and very little action. Shocking actually, given its subject matter.
