I put off reading this book because of the title. I'm not interested in Wall Street and I know nothing about stocks and bonds etc. I thought I would give the book a try since I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them. I figured if I was bored by it, I could just quit reading it. I'm so glad I did not pass up this book. It was a real page turner and kept me reading every possible spare moment and late at night. This book is certainly worth reading. I loved it.

A fictionalized account of a Ruth-and-Bernie-Madoff couple, mostly from her point of view. The end is a bit pat but the author does well to imagine being married to a charming sociopath and living without recognition of his faults and limits.

Timely and enjoyable read.

Sounds like a Bernie Madoff ripoff - - except Ms. Madoff, which the un-liberated feminists sought to frame as one of the victims - - was caught trying to move some of the remaining stolen funds offshore and was sentenced to house arrest until after the trial - - she should have joined Bernie in the clinker! [Absolutely NO WAY were any of Madoff's family members in the dark - - impossible at how he operated!]
