As entertaining and enjoyable a Silva effort as usual with heavy emphasis on the historical aspects and residue of the Holocaust.
Serious suspenseful spy thriller capturing the patience and ingenuity needed to capture a war criminal.
I liked it. Silva uses Allon and his story to discuss how Nazi's criminals were helped by many - including the Catholic Church and the governments of Argentina, Europe and the US -to escape justice after the war. It's sad but true.
Not as good as some of Silva's previous books but still well written and a good read
