"Misty Copeland believes "There has been a shift in recent years in which women no longer desire the bare bones of a runway model. Standards have changed: what women do want is a long, toned, powerful body with excellent posture." In other words, the body of a ballerina. In her first health and fitness book, Misty will show women how to find the motivation to get healthier and stronger, and how to reshape their bodies to be lean and flexible, with step-by-step advice, meal plans, workout routines, and words of inspiration. Celebrating the importance of healthy fats and a fitness regimen based on ballet exercises, Misty shares her own time-tested exercises and an eating plan focusing on healthy fats, both of which keep her in top shape. Tips for motivation and words of encouragement as well as tips on how to keep going even when you may want to give up. An inspiring section on the importance of finding mentors, and eventually being one, plus excerpts from Misty's personal journal, round out this important book on grace and strength." --

this book follows her first book, Life in Motion,
where she tells her story of how family and mentors can miraculous inspire and nourish her talent.

. in this book , Misty Copeland, attempts tutoring on exercises and eating.
we all need such tutoring,, this book can compliment the tutoring you get from other people.

I think it will be more wonderful, if Misty Copeland not just give the exercises in a book, but put those excercises on YouTube as well..

Today Ballerinas and Presidents reach out to people with books, but more effectively with YouTube and other social media.

Life in Motion is one of the best book you can read today.
But the Ballerina Body cannot publish alone as a book,, it must reach out to its audience on the social media stage.

Written with warmth, kindness, and honesty, this book is an inspiring read. It's divided into 4 sections centered on the following topics: loving yourself, exercising, eating well, and giving back to your community. Misty shares pertinent parts of her life with the reader, including how, as a young ballerina who had never received instruction in eating well, she used to scarf down a whole box of donuts after a particularly stressful day at the ballet! The exercise portion can be difficult to follow, as the pictures don't always go with each step listed. But the recipe section is wonderful, full of interesting, delicious, and relatively easy-to-make meals and snacks (if you're an intermediate-level cook). My favorites include the Colorful Shrimp Caesar Salad (the homemade Caesar dressing is dynamite!), the Bran Muffins, and the Yummus with Peas. This lifestyle guide is a joyful and tasty addition to anyone aspiring to be more healthy.
