If I could read this series over and over again I would. Also, I want to marry Rhys

A strong conclusion to the events set up in the second installment of the series. I enjoyed witnessing these characters grow together and all the lovely little magical secrets and mysteries intertwine.

What a fantastic book! This is a great fantasy series and this book the battle is brutal. I went through so many emotions reading this book. I can't wait to find out what happens next to these wonderful characters.

This was a fitting conclusion to the first part of the series. Lots of drama, romantic tension, and action. I was on tenterhooks waiting for the ending and biting my nails hoping my favorite characters would survive the final battle. Luckily enough, there will be more books (following some of my favorite secondary characters!), so I don't have to leave this series behind just yet.

So far the most action packed of the four books in this series, full of unexpected surprises and . heart wrenching moments. With the world on the verge of war Ferye and Rhysand must find unusual allies that will aid them in their pursuit of peace.

Once again I'll begin by pointing out that this book is often in the Teen section of the library and between people having their heads removed and the graphic sex scenes, this falls firmly into YA, emphasis on the "A." While the sex in the second book was steamy too, by this one I was wishing Maas could find some other words. I don't think I'll be able to read the word "worship" or "feast" again without a little ick. So I've again used up a lot of space analyzing sex.

The rest of the book is, once again, brilliant. We're never sure who is good or bad or anyone's true motives. Watching Feyre grow into her powers continues to be intriguing and entertaining. Maas could take a page from George RR Martin and be willing to kill off some main characters. It's amazing how they all come through time and again. Despite that, these novels are fun fairy tales where the heroine doesn't need to be saved, so yea for that!

I loved this book so much that one the day it was released I bought it. as well as the other books. Once you read Sarah J. Maas's work you are doomed to love everything she writes. Who else is excited for her next two books? I know I am!

This is so impeccably beautiful and well written! The chemistry between Feyre and Rhysand is amazing. Makes me envy them a little. The way Maas has described Prythian and the characters with such detail, I felt I was right there, present in Prythian throughout the whole story. I loved Morrigan's character and couldn't help but compare her to Tyrion Lannister because of her drinking habit and her sense of humor. ACOWAR is so far the best book in the series. Would love to see Rhysand and Feyre with offspring and a happy ending for Tamlin in the next book! And definitely more politics between the High Lords and Lady! - Lyla, age 12

This is a great book!!! Surprisingly the main character is actually LIKABLE, unlike SOME book series cough cough so many book series i can't even count them all. Rhys and the entire night court are amazing, and you really get to know them. Also the Suriel is the best character in the entire series. I read this book in three days. I was TRYING to make it last a week but it didn't work. Sarah J Maas's writing is just too amazing.
