If I were to use one word to describe this book : clusterf*ck. Give me the REAL Secret Wars any day. The one in '84-5 by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck.

This is great stuff. Awesome artwork and truly epic (and sometimes bewildering) storytelling. My only gripe was Apocalypse being downgraded as a henchmen for Doctor Doom.

Decent story with good art, but if you haven't been following the Marvel universe immediately before this, it's very easy to get lost. Decent enough ending but still tends to be confusing. Follows directly from Time Runs Out Volumes 1-4.

The culmination of years of work by Jonathan Hickman comes to a close with this event that turns the Marvel universe upside down (before pretty much restoring it to something what it already was). Densely plotted and metaphysical, the story sprawls, and yet ultimately comes down to a Fantastic Four tale with a familiar enemy who's over reached, yet again.
