"When Mr. Squirrel awakens to find that the moon has landed on his tree, he frantically tries to get rid of it before someone suspects him of stealing it and puts him in jail. But when he rolls the moon off of his tree, it gets stuck on Mrs. Hedgehog's bristles and when the billy-goat arrives and butts it with his horns... Will the moon ever be the same again? Sebastian Meschenmoser's hilarious illustrations and rollicking tale will be a bedtime favorite"--Amazon.com.

Another cute story in the series in which Mr. Squirrel mistakes a found object for something else and his imagination runs wild. Although the story itself is charming, the images on some pages may disturb sensitive readers, because of their realistic appearance and their seemingly serious nature. If your young reader doesn't mind those, it's a humourous story.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: There are some scenes in the book which may disturb sensitive readers: the jail scenes (which portray the animals in a dark prison with a convict) and a scene in which the hedgehog is flattened (but unharmed) by a round cheese.
