The third book in Perkin’s Anna and the French Kiss trilogy––you don’t have to read it in order but I recommend doing so because previous characters have cameos!––and one of my favorites from Stephanie. If Anna and the French Kiss was my favorite in terms of plot, Isla and the Happily Ever After was my favorite in terms of pure energy (seriously, it was so cute!). Everything from the dialogue to the character descriptions to the sequencing filled me with happy butterflies. I will say though, it’s extremely cheesy, which not everyone likes. To me, it’s super enjoyable because I love cheesy rom-com books, but if you’re not a fan of excessive fluff this may not be for you. All in all this book is perfect if you’re in need of a laugh or a quick distraction because the read time is quite short-lived (took me about 3-4 hours in one sitting).

Was my favorite out of the three in the series. I loved it, and would read it over and over again.

Can't believe it took me this long to read Isla!! I missed Stephanie Perkins' words <3 It was fun that there were three different settings in this book as well, and I felt like I was dropped in the middle of each one. So many sensory details! I did find the romance kinda cheesy at times, and fast, but in the end I love Josh and Isla together- they bring out the best in each other and had so many cute moments. I loved the cameos at the end too!

Great ending to a great book series. It was sweet to see Isla's happily ever after, but it was even better to see Anna, Etienne, Cricket, and Lola at the end. Oops, spoilers?

I didn't like this one as much as the first two... maybe because I didn't like Isla but it was still a sweet and silly little YA romance with plenty of the quirk that makes Perkins so enjoyable.

I would rate Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins 3.5/5 stars. I found that this book was a good ending to the Anna and the French Kiss trilogy. I really enjoyed how the author incorporated the characters from the previous books throughout the book, although I wish this would have been a bigger part in the book like in Lola and the Boy Next Door. I found the book was a bit slow at times, but overall the story was cute and romantic. The story of Isla and Josh follows the storyline of a typical teen romance novel, which sometimes isn’t a bad thing because its sometimes nice to have an easy, cute read. The book was overall a good read, and I would recommend taking the time to read it, although I would not say it is a must read. I recommend reading this book after completing Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door, especially if you are a fan of Kasie West’s books.

Isla and the happily ever after is a teen fictional and romantic novel written by Stephan Perking. It is the last book of Anna and the French kiss series.
Unlike her previous novels the focus is on Isla and Josh relationship. Stephanie Perkins filled my heart with so much love for Isla and Josh. I cannot believe the trilogy is over when I turned the final page of Isla and The Happily Ever After. I adored every single one of the books in the trilogy and it’s really difficult to say goodbye to the characters.
If you have been following the series, Isla Martin was first introduced in Anna and The French Kiss. Isla is a shy and quite girl who had a huge crush on a creative cartoonist Josh from her first year of high school in France. As they become aware of each other’s feelings they have to face the challenges every young couple must face, including the family drama.
Should Isla and Josh be together? It’s something you’ll be wondering throughout the story. At times, their relationship is adorable, sweet, and you can’t help feel that their teenager Dom is restricting them from being in a proper relationship. Isla reminds you what it’s like to be a teenager and not have that luxury. But at other times, I couldn’t help but wonder whether it was so intense that Josh and Isla were actually in a toxic relationship, like those couples who couldn’t keep away from each other at university, but now are no longer together while the ones who could quite happily not call each other every single day are still together.
Get ready to be taken on magical ride with Stephanie Perking new book Isla and happily ever after. This book will not disappoint you but will make u fall in love with each and every word of it. It will flatter your heart making you believe that true love does exist. It will make you feel as if you are in that situation and you are falling in love. I would highly recommend this book to people who believe in love and enjoy reading stories about it. It sums up the entire trilogy with the perfect ending and fans of Stephanie Perkins will rejoice and celebrate this immensely captivating trilogy.
