Great introduction to the US Border Patrol and how they spend incredible amounts of money to track down US violators of their own laws.

A rare inside look at how overseas companies, acting as fronts for enemy governments, try constantly to circumvent trade embargoes, especially when it comes to military procurement. As a result, the huge military advantage that the West has had when it comes to night-vision equipment, tracking devices and non-WMD missiles has been virtually eliminated, giving rogue states and terrorists the advantage. This story is a case of several companies that were approached to do an end run, and instead cooperated with the US government to bring in one of the ringleaders. Implicit in the text is that there are thousands of corporations every day that either break the rules deliberately, don't know they are .. or worse, don't care.
