Some funny parts but generally a negative tone.

If you want to read a book about a mom whining about how hard everything is about being a mom, with occasional funny moments, this is the book for you. I, however, wish I had not picked the thing up and made myself read it. As a fellow mom, I could not relate to her at all. I could relate to the kids antics because been there. There are better books.

I almost gave up on this book early on because of the author's very negative attitude toward breastfeeding. However, I'm glad I persevered because, other than that, it is a funny, poignant book about being a mother to young children.

The perfect book to read when you're exhausted and need to be reminded about the ridiculousness of raising children. It's not easy, but if you can laugh at it, it's bearable!
