For a book on the topic If I Stay tackles, it seems like there should have been more passion, a deeper sense of loss and a more compelling depiction of Mia's indecision about dying or remaining alive. Her struggle, presumably, would have been gut-wrenching, but she struck me mostly as an observer stacking up the pros and cons to come to a rational conclusion. That's a bit of an overstatement, but overall, the author didn't make me feel very much from a book that should have been shot through with emotion.
if i stay it really a complicated book and goood to read it you wodering what real happend next it about a girl name mia she have a lot of choice to make
it made me cry!! :'(
The story is interesting but I wish books came with an age rating. If they did this one should have a PG14 rating for language and sexual content.
A tragic event leaves the main character with an excruciating decision. In spite of the sad events, the story speaks to the power of family, love and hope.
This is a great audio book - I highly recommend it. They do a nice job of handling one part of the story in which the narrator is remembering. In the physical book the font is different so the reader understands. In the audio, they use a different voice.
