Stink is a great series for 3 graders and up. The main character is Judy Moody's pesky younger "bother." This book is more geared towards a boy then a girl (Judy Moody series are geared more towards girls), but both genders should have fun reading it. If you can, try reading the series in order.

Stink is back, and this time he is on a mission to find homes for a ridiculous number of guinea pigs. The local pet store owner, Mrs. Birdwhistle has 101 guinea pigs that she is trying to get to a guinea pig rescue centre where a friend of hers can take some of the pets. But its up to Stink, Webster and Sophie to help Mrs. Birdwhistle find homes for the rest.

Author Megan Morgan gives Stink a cross-country rescue adventure that makes him as much of a hero as his sister Judy. She also manages to stick in information about guinea pigs without it becoming too preachy. The plot might be a little far fetched at times, but this is still a good book, especially for fans of the series.
