#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts presents the story of a shared past, a fresh start, and a lifetime of love in the second novel in the Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy.

Owen is the organizer of the Montgomery clan, running the family's construction business with an iron fist--and an even less flexible spreadsheet. And though his brothers bust on his compulsive list-making, the Inn BoonsBoro is about to open right on schedule. The only thing Owen didn't plan for was Avery McTavish...

Avery's popular pizza place is right across the street from the inn, giving her a first-hand look at its amazing renovation--and a newfound appreciation for Owen. Since he was her first boyfriend when they were kids, Owen has never been far from Avery's thoughts. But the attraction she's feeling for him now is far from innocent.

As Avery and Owen cautiously take their relationship to another level, the opening of the inn gives the whole town of Boonsboro a reason to celebrate. But Owen's hard work has only begun. Getting Avery to let down her guard is going to take longer than he expected--and so will getting her to realize that her first boyfriend is going to be her last...

I liked this trilogy. Small town, strong men, strong women. Good people. Heartwarming.

second book in the inn boonsboro trilogy. just as fun as the first. again, good character development with even more fun with the "ghost". love learning more about the town and its residents. can't wait for my hold to come in on the last book!

I usually enjoy NR and this book is in line with that feeling. I am not fond of her JD series but I like this one. Her ability to create characters with close relationships is particularly appealing. As her books often have this has a touch of other worldliness to it which is also appealing. I think of them as readable fluff which I like as a contrast to other genres.

This series is especially wonderful if you listen to it. I listen on CDs. The guy reading it is just great! I like the way Nora wrote these books. She really had a flair with the ways guys talk when they are alone! She also made you fall in love with these people. I never wanted it to end!!!

I enjoyed the 2nd in the series. The ghost sideline has me really intrigued and hope there is a happy resolution in the 3rd book. All around, an enjoyable read.

This one felt too much like a retreat to me. Others may find it charming.

The first one was not so good....this one was worse. But her other new one The Witness was a good read.
