Your best friend

Lindsay Boxer is pregnant at last! But her work doesn't slow for a second. When millionaire Chaz Smith is mercilessly gunned down, she discovers that the murder weapon is linked to the deaths of four of San Francisco's most untouchable criminals. And it was taken from her own department's evidence locker. Anyone could be the killer--even her closest friends.

Or a vicious killer?

Lindsay is called next to the most bizarre crime scene she's ever seen: two bodiless heads elaborately displayed in the garden of a world-famous actor. Another head is unearthed in the garden, and Lindsay realizes that the ground could hide hundreds of victims.

You won't know until the 11th hour

A reporter launches a series of vicious articles about the cases and Lindsay's personal life is laid bare. But this time she has no one to turn to--especially not Joe. 11TH HOUR is the most shocking, most emotional, and most thrilling Women's Murder Club novel ever.

Having read and enjoyed 12th Hourl I found this a disappointment. Too much girlie stuff intermingled with the main plot.

I totally agree with Judith. Red herrings with no links and the argument with the husband not realistic by any means. Ok, but not the best.

I learned about the Women's Murder Club books when there was a short TV series on a while back. I enjoy the characters and the plots. Look forward to #12.

Book would be better if Boxer & Co didn't miss obvious procedural basics--barely diverting.

Enjoyed the book but Lindsay and Joe's story could have been better.
Liked the cops story line more then the other one.

Really enjoyed this one - it was a quick read for me.

Always a good choice for a quickie weekend read.

Pieces feel missing -- I was sure this recording must have been abridged. But, according to the details here, it isn't. I didn't like it much. The falling out with her husband seemed absurd, without listening to him once. And then they got together too easily, with little explanation. Odd character stuff was hung out and then never explained. It didn't feel masterful to me.
