Only suggest reading if you have at least some knowledge of the case. Timeline is all over the place and the author spends most of the time elaborating on settings and Italy's history more than the actual case.

If you know nothing, this is not the book for you.

Interesting topic, but I thought this was a biased and one dimensional account of this case. Focused on perceived inadequacies within the Italian justice system, anti-Americanism and related information as it is conveyed by the Knox PR machine and defense lawyers. Not enough emphasis on presenting evidence in an unbiased, objective manner.

I liked this book. Interesting to read. A smooth read. Invites you to take a long hard look and decide for yourself what the outcome really is.

Bizarre and fascinating case.

The Amanda Knox case is well-researched and analyzed without prejudice or bias. The segments that discuss the history of Perugia and Italian-American relations are interesting and do have some bearing on the case. The book convinced this reader that two young people were given harsh sentences based on little to no evidence.
