Too many things going on in this book. And it is not convincing that the girls at the age of 11 are capable of such profound philosophical reflections.

Good thriller. I don't think you can truly like any of McMahon's characters, except the children, which often makes for an uncomfortable read.

I loved how this book just grabbed you and brought you in right from the start. The two plots in the book made it flow and kept me turning the pages (so much in fact that I read it all in one sitting .. no easy feat). At times it was a bit creepy and at other times it got kind of dull ... but all in all it was an afternoon well spent.

This was a fast paced interesting read for a mystery lover. The odd twist and turn kept me turning the pages well after I should have turned off the light. Although not a long book it was fast paced and enjoyable.

Everything he'd ever done to hurt me came back in a flash and I put all those months of lies and pain into each swing of the hammer.
