I found this book very illuminating and would recommend it to every woman who works. Even women who work for themselves need to be paid what they are worth, And young women still at school could use a heads up about the nature of the culture they are entering. Even if it "seems obvious" it can't hurt to be reminded before you need to know, rather than starting off on the wrong foot. As the author points out, if you start out low you will most likely remain low for the rest of your life, loosing potentially millions of dollars, because pay increases are based on what you already have rather than what you deserve.

This was an easy-to-read, encouraging book about what to do and what not to do about us women getting paid what we're worth.

A bit on the obvious side. I got to read about some new studies, which was interesting, but didn't end up feeling like I knew what to do next based on this information.
