Thank-you to the author for letting me re-visit Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard on pages 14-21. A magical place! I love porches; it's the nostalgia that appeals to me. Asking your neighbour to sit awhile and share stories. I've had a lovely Victorian porch with wicker and now I share my small country porch with swallows that have chosen it as they're nesting site instead of the barn. It's not as grand as any in this book, but has it's own magic.

Fun to read, but I still like our porch better than any others I have seen, whether in books or in real life.
