Rated 5/10. The side stories from all the jurors detracted from the main one. It would have been a better series if it had concentrated on just that. Also, there were no other viable suspects. This made it quite unsuspenseful.

Superb and captivating series starring the supremely talented Derek Jacobi (see him in the "Cadfael" series). Also notable is Gerard Butler, who has been stuck in mostly bad films (see him in "Dear Frankie", a good early film).

Fast-paced directing. Brilliant script and clever plotting that gets better as the story unfolds. Those who idealize jury service quickly get disillusioned when they serve (like real life for sure). Police brutality and corruption (like real life for sure).

There are flaws: some dizzying camera action; sometimes too preachy and self-righteous; obvious stereotypes. But still an excellent and profoundly disturbing drama.

A mind puzzler and emotional rollercoaster with no clear details as the facts are held up to the jury to decide as are you.
The evidence is twisted throughout keeping you from knowing the outcome.
I enjoyed it very much and was hard pressed to not stay up all night to get to the end< whice is ?????????????
