Cute and funny. I enjoyed this book very much. It was also interesting the author added the deleted scene ... just like a DVD movie ... at the end of the book.

I think the characters were very developed very well. The characters from the original play had a different personality than I thought they would have -except Tybalt and Romeo. I would have never imagined them in that way

Loved the twist on Shakespeare's amazing Romeo and Juliet! The characters were all great and I was glad the lovers didn't die... although two people from the book (not mentioning any names to avoid spoiling the book) did die. Great book that will leave you with a feeling of happiness.

i loved this book. it put an awesome twist to a clasic tale that has been told many times before. in this retelling no one (thank God) dies which is what put a modern spin to it.
to any one reading this comment and thinking about borrowing this book i highly recomend it.

Mimi finds herself in Shakespeare's play - only, people speak normally and she has no idea how to go back home. She encouters Juliet and promises she will help her, doing her best to avoid the very well-know treagedy, trying to keep her friend alive. Mimi is, later on, also banned from the Capulets' house and she must avoid being spotted, while helping other people. Will she end up dying along with the two lovers or will she be able to escape the tragic destiny?

We all know the story of Romeo and Juliet but the ending is always sad. In Saving Juliet the main character tries to chnage all that while dealing with her own problems, learning about herself and finding her own love. The only question: will she get her life back or will she have to live forever in the 16th century Verona or worse?
