I was hoping a lot of the recipes would be vegan, but found this wasn't the case. Without pictures, I wasn't that tempted based on the recipe titles.

Drawn in by the eggplants (my favorite vegetable!) on the cover, I thought I'd try this out, but it just wasn't for me. I have a hard time with cookbooks that don't have photos of the meals, and, while they may be authentic, the recipes were too labor-intensive for my schedule. I ended up not trying any of them, so I can't comment on how they taste.
