This is helpful if you're interested in J-horror, cliches, some subjects related to material and a helpful guide to finding J-horror. I really needed it for "Ring" and "Ju-On" who get a separate chapter for each. One thing I'd like less of is plot summary and more analysis. This can be difficult due to the "let's describe each movie" idea. However, I liked this book and recommend you buy it, it's only like $4.
