Don’t bother.
Lots and lots of suggestions via words, but really NO photos of clothing pieces she recommends. I would love to see the book full of before and after photos of different styles, rather than just a few and they are so “duh”...let’s show a 300# woman in low rider jeans vs jeans that fit. Besides these few, the only photos are of 20 yo and 30 yo celebrities who are paid to look good.
The author really likes being tan, and wearing compression garments.

Enjoyed it, though had to google a lot of fashion stuff. The KEY message of this book is to NOT look at the attractiveness of clothes but to see how it fits you. Some advice may appear self-contradictory, particularly when going through the different body parts and specific colors, but the gist is solid. Review your closet, take a candid look in the mirror, toss out, save for your daughter - but do not mourn the cute clothes that do not suit you.

Spot on for any 40+ lady out there discovering new inches, or for someone who finally "got it" that their thighs will be heavy vs a super-model on the day they dropped dead from starvation in the gym.

I love the tone of this book - pure fun, and let's just quit agonizing over what we weigh, already.
I like the lists of "vows" for each topic: for big thighs and booty, 'I will never wear pleats of any sort.' And here I am, thinking I can hide my assets behind boxy pleats! Well, thank you. Trash that bad idea.

This book could go out of fashion pretty quickly. Some good tips but a bit confusing on what to and not to wear. Over weight is not really large large, just a few pounds over in the books focus. Skips anyone over 25 or 30 lbs. or more. Best bet for those in their 20's and 30's with just a few extra pounds. Looks like it was sponsored by some specialty clothing stores.
