Had a lot of patterns I didn't care for... but had inspiration on what could be used to make yarn which was eco-friendly.

This has a pretty good tutorial on yarns which was worth reading (even for me who is a very experienced knitter); however, there wasn't mmch in the way of patterns that interested me.

Not really worth borrowing. I didn't find anything unique in this book, that jumps from one project to another, that I couldn't get in others, or on the internet. It honestly bored me.

This book uses mostly organic yarns, such as merino and soysilk and bamboo, among others. There is a weight chart at the back, if you want to use up the yarn stash you already have. There are instructions for cutting up plastic bags to use for yarn, or old T-shirts. There is a pattern for using paper yarn, but the limited instructions for making that one is to cut newspaper strips and use a drop spindle to make the yarn, if you choose not to buy it.
Fun to read, many useful patterns.
