A lot of good recipes, interspersed with interesting information- although, the information didn't really seem to have a set format, it kind of felt like she was writing a blog at times- oh wait, she does write a blog! I did like that there were very easy recipes at the front, followed by the more impressive recipes (some of them requiring DAYS) in the back. I didn't like that she felt the need to have SO MANY pictures of herself and her incredibly attractive staff on every other page. We get it. You're gorgeous. Give me more smoothie recipes.

I just love her books...all of them in fact. I have tried recipes and ALL were excellent. It is a fact that some of the recipes require a different way to prepare your food than what we are normally used too if you never entertained the RAW lifestyle. Preperation and planning are key elements if you intend on exploring Raw food. Bon app├ętit!

The author doesn't seem to make her point very well. After going on about eating raw and being vegetarian being a better lifestyle choice, she also includes a whole essay about the importance of feeding your animals a diet comprised mostly of meat. She didn't really recognize that humans are also animals and might need a more rounded diet.

I also found that although the author claims that the recipes are super easy and contain everyday ingredients, this wasn't entirely true. I found that although the recipes were fairly simple, there were still a lot of out of the ordinary ingredients or long processes to extract ingredients yourself.
