An arctic whale scientist tells of his experiences in the arctic as he interacts and learns from the inuit people and studies their methods and the whales that they hunt. There are many photographs and much description of the hunting and harvesting/preparing of the whale meat. If you are interested in this particular occupation or whale hunting information, this will interest you. If the book catches your eye and you thought their would be more child- friendly information or more information on living whales and their habits, you will probably be disappointed.
