Be sure to review the chapter,
"American Indian Records and Research" by Jimmy B. Parker starting on page 209 if you're starting to research your American Indian ancestors. It shows examples of actual documents such as a Deed for Sale of Indian Lands and a page from an Annuity Payroll. The bibliography for this chapter is three and one-half pages long, and in very small print---great info to use as a next step. Using this together with the Native American Genealogical Sourcebook and How to Research American Indian Bloodlines will get beginners and experienced genealogists off to a solid start.
