this book is amazing... I love how Julie berry adds so much detail and I love the goat named dog, he is such a great little guy. I just wish that Lucinda gets married to prince Gregor in the end. too bad there's not a second book, definitely a fabulous book, would recommend to anyone who loves fairy tales :)

I didn't realize until over halfway through the book that this is a retelling of sorts of Cinderella. It's a great fairy tale. I read it in one sitting without stopping because it was intriguing and a very quick read. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes fairy tales.

I loved this book! A honest to goodness real fairy tail without all the vampire and werewolf garbage that so many of the authors today tarnish their books with! I loved the characters and although I wished that in the end Lucinda would end up with Peter instead of Gregor it was still a pretty good ending.

Go Lucinda, Go Peter, Go Gregor, Go Beryl, Go Beatrix (not really), Go Ernest, Go Aunt (not really) and last but not least...

GO DOGGY-GOAT, THE GOAT WITH 9999999 LIVES!!!!

It's alright. I hated the "love at first sight", and thought that the plot seemed a little...boxed in, I guess. It would have been better if Berry had expanded a bit more on a few parts of the story. A little boring in places, but an okay read altogether.
