This book was funny, quirky, and sweet. I really enjoyed it and I found it relatable to teen girls everywhere.

After Evagaline's parent's seperation, she finds a book in her mother's room that changes her life forever. She begins her quest for her "crimson kiss." If she'll find it? That's something you'll have to find out!

I loved every minute of it. After this novel, you should read Flipped.

This was a hilarious book, but I wouldn't really recommend it to guys. It really shows how someone can be searching for something they want without realizing that it hurts the others around the person. It's a great beach read!

Evangeline Logan is like a child, always on her high-horse. The book had a good idea and good writing, but I found that I could not stand Evangeline's personality.

(Feb 23, 2010) From the back cover of the Alfred A. Knopf printing of the book:

[I][red]1. Speak your fantasy.[i][/red]
I, Evageline Bianca Logan, want a kiss. One spectacular, heart-stopping, life-alterring crimson kiss.
Okay, so I've had very little lip-locking experience up till now, but I've got assets....
[i][red]2. See your fantasy.[/i][/red]
He sweeps me into his arms, looks lovingly into my eyes; his lips brush against mine, warm, tender, full of smoldering passion, and then...
Oh, yeah. I can definitely see it.
[i][red]3. Live your fantasy.[/i][/red]
That's it?! How????

The self help book made it sound easy, but finding a crimson kisser in the halls of Larkmont High is proving even more difficult than Evangeline imagined.
What seem like good kissing prospects turn out to be fish-lipped kissers, or misser kissers, or worse--ear-lickers. Disgusting!
But Evangeline is not ready to give up. She really needs to believe in love right now. Or at least inthe possibility for love. Or--oh, one good kiss isn't too much to ask for, is it?
In this laugh-out-loud-funny and persistently wise book, Wendelin Van Draanen gives us the story of a girl on a quest for the perfect kiss who, in the process, finds herself.
