IT was heart wrenching to listen to this book - so well done and so well written. I was so struck by the writers depiction of situations for which there are no clear alternatives - Neil Countryman is in the middle - and in actuality there was no right action for him to take - he truly tried to do the best he could given everything...and yet such tragedy...would highly recommend this book - I found that when I was coming home, I would have to keep the tape rolling after I had parked the car, because I could no pull my self away

Being from that era, I could really identify with this book. Well written, intralling and devestatingly sad. Great read!
