An excellent movie about the court case that eventually caused defendants to be appointed attorneys no matter how destitute the they might be.

This is an excellent movie! The acting is superb, particularly Henry Fonda, Jose Ferrer, John Houseman, and Sam Jaffe. It is remarkably faithful to Anthony Lewis' outstanding book, and Lewis enters a cameo appearance at the very end. If you do not want to read the book, then see this movie!
