Aimee Semple McPherson was a singular
american. She was driven to preach her brand of gospel from about age 17 until her death in1944 at age 54. As the description says, she was charismatic and wildly popular but at the same time the documentary does not make judgements as to her sincerety or ultimate contribution to American culture. The viewer can decide.

The multiple rises and falls of Aimee Semple McPherson: Canadian, evangelist, activist, weirdo, business person. You can't write this stuff, ladies and gentlemen.
