The famously disaster-prone Mildred, witch in training, flies in for a brand-new adventure that makes a perfect Halloween treat.

Mildred is starting her third year at Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches with high hopes of improving her klutzy record. But that's before a curling-iron catastrophe leads her to experiment with a hair-growing potion with hair-raising results. And it's before she raises the ire of Miss Granite, the odd new teacher who doesn't seem to act like a teacher at all. Could she be an imposter? And is there anything in Mildred's bag of tricks that can save the school if her hunch is right?

Another great read.

Mildred enters her third term ready to be freed of the awful Miss Hardbroom. The new teacher, Miss Granite, Is very frivoulous with a falsetto voice. She doesn't seem to teach anything, and just lets the students choose their own spells, but the spell that Mildred chooses; a regrowth spell, to help with her hair after Ethel chopped it all off, backfires, and she ends up in more trouble then she bargained for.

Unfortunatly on the bad hair day Tabby gets overly stressed, so Ethel takes him on his own broom-riding course, wich ends up with Tabby falling into Miss Granite's hand, almost literally.

When Mildred discovers a plot to take over the school she knows she must put her fears behind her and save the school, or risk her, and everyone else turning into snails, forever!

Full of fun and intrigue, this book will have you cheering Mildred Hubble all the way.
