i agree with other ppl who think she went too far in her animal activism. for one thing, adopting so many dogs was totally irresponsible; you really CANT save them all!!! what ppl need to do is "FIX" their animals, and dont have a pet unless you're willing to dedicate the rest of your life to it. i dont think the movie's all that great. she's so quiet and i didnt really feel she had much of a personality. she needed to be given more lines, to wake her up a bit. quite boring.... just like her boss. i really didnt like her boss. no life in him at all. is he as bored as can possibly be?? or not enjoying being alive? or maybe theyre just really bad actors. or possibly he didnt care about the movie at all, he just needed the money. they needed more lines and need to bring their characters to life. enthusiasm, ppl!!

This is a 2007 comedy-drama film written and directed by Mike White.
The film describes the process of a woman that goes from having one pet dog at home to becoming a vegan and an animal rights activist.
I admire animal-lovers, but Peggy goes too far.
She is not a well-organized person mentally and phisically.
Peggy's life falls apart.
What a happy-go-lucky yet pathetic woman she is!
