I found this book very enjoyable. It was similar to Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy. Both main characters have a strong connection to nature and are able to communicate to their wolf companions. This book was kind of slow in some parts and I think there could have been some more development within the character's relationships. However, loved the world building and the strong characters.

It was an Interesting book, it showed how Fell was coping with the death of his sister,Larka, and later, his parents. It also went a lot from the point of view of the humans. One of the most interesting parts in the book was when Fell saves the girl from the other humans.

Clement-Davies takes a different turn this time, instead of writing about a new prophecy-hero, he looks at the life of one whom was left behind. Fell is extraordinary in his own right, and goes on to do great things, but he is a more conflicted character than Larka from The Sight, or Rannoch from Fire Bringer was. He does not fight an epic battle, but an internal struggle, and that is what made me feel for him.

the book was good but as other people have said, there was too much human interaction

This book I found to be not as good as The Sight beacuse it involed more on human characters but it does have a good personal story for the character Fell and him coming to terms with who and what he is after the events of the first book. I liked the wolf world involvement rather than the other half which consisted of human involement.
