This was a very nice book, although I didn't notice any differences between this one and the original Cinderella story! It was not "actually way different than you might have thought". It was a fun, short read, but I am a little bit disappointed.
If you want a better fractured Cinderella-story, try "If The Shoe Fits" by Sarah Mlynowski, "Ella Enchanted" by Gail Carson Levine, "Disenchanted: The Trails of Cinderella" by Megan Morrison, or "Just Ella" by Margaret Peterson Haddix.

This is very easy read, but not one for babies! I would encourage all girls to read this because it shows that life is unfair in many ways but still good.

An easy read, even though has many twists sticks to the orginal Cinderella story line.
