While the history discussed in this wasn't bad, I was dissapointed in it for various reasons. Including, and not limited to, the fact this is called "Samurai Japan" yet they spent less than half the movie actually talking about the Samurai. Also, when discussing religion, I was extremely upset by the things they said- it was all very bigoted and biased in my opinion. The producers of this should really be ashamed at the product they put out. Those kinds of attitudes don't belong in what is supposed to be a historic piece. I'd NEVER recommend this to anyone. There are many more accurate and appropriate documentaries, historical films, etc that would be much better to view if you want to learn about samurai, feudal Japan, etc.
