I was fortunate to play in a band that supported the Voidoids at several NYC venues in the late 70s (including several dates at CBGBs) and I'm looking forward to hearing this record again for the first time in over 25 years. As a bonus, it includes the cut I'm Your Man which was released on 7" only after this LPs release and before Destiny Street (It was the B-Side to Kid With the Replaceable Head, if I remember correctly). This track features Robert Quine executing my 2nd favorite guitar solo of all time (Nels Cline's "Impossible Germany" solo on Wilco's Sky Blue Sky LP finally knocked this one out of the top spot for me some 20+ years later). For that delicious 20 seconds of pure Stratocaster bliss it is worth patiently waiting for. Otherwise, I'd say the record is overall an acquired taste that many will love, but many may not.
