'Til death do us part' indeed. Don't play games with your heart.

“Room at the Top” was Oscar nominated for best film, best actor (Laurence Harvey), best director (Jack Clayton) and Simone Signoret won the Oscar for best actress. Harvey plays an individual with a hole in his personality, as he is determined to make it to the Top by marrying the rich man’s daughter, yet is in love with an older married woman. This film has some similarities to the great “The Magnificent Ambersons” and the “Sweet Smell of Success” where other men with defective personalities fly high until they get their comeuppance. All three of these films are great with great scripts, plots and acting and should be on everyone’s top 100 or 200.

Susan Brown: Joe, wasn't it absolutely the most wonderful wedding? Now we really belong to each other, till death us do part. Darling, you're crying! I believe you really are sentimental after all.
