Released on January 13, 1969 - Yellow Submarine would be the tenth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles.

This particular album arose from contractual obligations for the Beatles to supply new songs to the soundtrack to United Artists' animated film Yellow Submarine.

Having recently completed their album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in April 1967, the group clearly showed minimal enthusiasm for this project, as is evident by the final product.

This CD contains 6 Beatles' songs, as well as an orchestral score of 7 tracks, written by George Martin, the Beatles' producer.... (*Watch music-video*)

This is one of The Beatles lesser albums artistically in my opinion, but it has several good songs, including instrumentals by George Martin.
