This book is about a girl named Annie. Annie loves to run and draw. Her friend, Max, is usually in a bad mood. Annie's mother is having another baby and Annie's grandfather is getting old and forgetting a lot. Max thinks that Annie is spoiled because she has parents and a grandfather. this is a great book take it from me i love it
very clever written book with
a lot of meaning put into few words
I really liked this book and the verse style in which it was written.
Another great piece of juvenile fiction from Sharon Creech. She uses free verse to great effect, not just as a gimmick, with living, breathing imagery and a real sensitivity to the mind of a twelve-year-old and the difficulties she faces growing up.
This was an AWESOME book! I was kind of surprised that it didnt make me cry though, because most of Sharon Creech's books do. But it was still a good read!
