I ignored biffblack. It appears he was having his own churlish nasty day(s) when he watched .....or it's simply not his cup of tea. You need to remember the time and place in which the story is set. Theater / film stories have evolved and I enjoyed this older, slower story with the twist at the end. A classic drawing room romp. I enjoyed Margaret Rutherford and the details of the characters lives. I've watched more than one time over the last decade and always enjoy.
